BackToModern believes in the quality of its products and wants you to shop with confidence. Please read the following carefully to understand our returns and restocking fee policy applicable to all components, accessories, and e-bikes sold by BackToModern. The 14-Day Trail period only starts the day the item is delivered.  

Returns Policy for New/Unused Items within 14 Days of Delivery We offer the opportunity to return any item in new and unused condition for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your delivery, with no restocking fee. Please note that return shipping charges are the recipient's responsibility. Ebikes can be returned with opened boxes but must be shipped within the 14-day period and have less than 20 miles on the odometer.

Returns Policy for New/Unused Items within 30 Days of Delivery. Should you opt to return an item outside the 14-day timeframe, it must be in new and unused condition. In such cases, returns will incur return shipping charges and a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the purchase price for orders placed within 30 days after delivery

Returns Policy of Used Items. Any items returned in a used condition (bikes with over 20 miles on the odometer) may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to return shipping charges and a restocking fee amounting to fifty percent (50%) of the purchase price. Items must be free of any damage. Electric bikes must have less than 100 miles on the odometer, and the retail box must be included and free of damage. 

 

Return Shipping Costs - You are responsible for covering the shipping expenses for returning your item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. We advise utilizing a trackable shipping service and acquiring shipping insurance. Although we cannot assure the receipt of the item you intend to return, these precautions help ensure secure transit.

Refused Shipments – Flat Fee $100- If you refuse delivery of an order that we have shipped to you per your request, please note that we reserve the right to impose a flat fee of $100 per e-bike. This fee helps offset our shipping expenses. Once orders have been shipped, we are unable to modify, intercept, or cancel them. Should you refuse delivery, we will consider your action as a return. Upon the return of the order to us, we will issue a refund for the purchase price through your original payment method, deducting $100.

Battery Returns - Because of restrictions imposed by shipping carriers on returning high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, purchases of batteries are non-returnable. These restrictions prevent consumers from returning batteries via shipping carriers.
